BHS:  Look at yesterday's assignment (Thurs. 10/11) and now that the debate is over. Do some research on news sites (cnn, msnbc, fox news, etc) and tell me what you think about the debate and the coverage of it. Who did better?  There was a lot of talk about it being very heated, confrontational, and even at times rude. Do you agree?
Also - it is called a DEBATE - isn't it suppose to be a little heated because the two debaters don't agree on the issues. That's why we have debates. Do you think the public opinion and the media have been overly sensitive about the candidates' performances?

From the link that I read ( http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/10/laughing-joe-steals-the-show-at-vice-presidential-debate/ ) it mostly talks about how people reacted to Joe Biden laughing during the debate numerous times. The republican's however were not pleased by his "cackling" and thousands of posts went up on twitter about it. I on the other hand think it's humorous and Joe is a cute old man

    Ha I don't think he's cute I find him really annoying! He needs to stop joking around and get down to business.

    I think he was laid back and making Paul do all the work. He has been through this already so he knows how it goes. He was trying to be funny but he didn't have to be rude.
